History of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
  • Antioch Baptist Church was organized on the Saturday before the second Sunday in March, 1874 and came from Liberty Baptist Church.
  • Liberty Baptist Church was organized on November 2, 1822 and came from Hillsdale Baptist Church.
  • Hillsdale Baptist Church was organized on July 16, 1817 and came from Dixon Creek Baptist Church.
  • Dixon Creek Baptist Church was organized on March 8, 1801 and came from El Bethel Baptist Church (now known as Station Camp Creek) .
  • El Bethel Baptist Church (Station Camp Creek) was organized in the year 1796 in Sumner County and came from New Bethel Baptist Church.
  • New Bethel Baptist Chuch was organized in the year 1794 in Davidson County and came from Red River Baptist Church.
  • Red River Baptist Church was organized in the year 1791 in Robertson County and came from Elkhorn Baptist Association.
  • Elkhorn Baptist Association was organized in October, 1785. John Taylor was the leader in this movement. Bro. Taylor came from Clear Creek Baptist Church.
  • Clear Creek Baptist Church was organized in the year 1785 and came from Happy Creek Baptist Church.
  • The date Happy Creek Baptist Church is unknown but was organized in Fauquier County, Virginia and came from Welsh Tract Baptist Church.
  • Welsh Tract Baptist Church was organized in Wales, England in June, 1701 by Elder Thomas Griffith and came from Hillcliff Baptist Church.
  • Hillcliff Baptist Church was organized in the year 987 by Aaron Arlington. Bro. Arlington came from Lima Pedmont Baptist Church.
  • Lima Pedmont Baptist Church was organized in the year 812 by Balcolao and came from Timto Baptist Church.
  • Timto Baptist Church was organized in Asia Minor in the year 738 by Archer Flaver, who came from Dorethea Baptist Church.
  • Dorethea Baptist Church was organized in the year 671 by Adromicus, who came from Pontifassi Baptist Church.
  • Pontifassi Baptist Church was organized by Tellesman in the year 398 at the foot of the Alps Mountains in France. Tellesman came from Turan Baptist Church.
  • Turan Baptist Church was organized in Turan, Italy in the year 237 by Tertullian, who was from Bing Joy, Africa. Tertullian was a member and came from Partus Baptist Church.
  • Partus Baptist Church was organized at the foot of the Tiber River by Polycarp in the year 150. Polycarp was baptized by the Apostle John in December, 95 A.D.
  • The Apostle John was baptized by John the Baptist and was one of the twelve that Jesus chose on the mountain near Jeruselam.
  • John the Baptist was sent from God to prepare a people for the Lord - Matthew 3.
