Pastor, Elder Walter Andrews

Elder Walter Thomas Andrews is the son of the late Bernice Andrews and Dorothy Andrews. He was born in Lafayette, TN. He has one bother Ricky Andrews and two sisters Kathy Ashworth and Conchita Gregory. He married Debbie King on June 25, 1983. She is the daughter of Rev. Harold and Wilma King. Walter and Debbie have 3 daughters Holly Witcher, Katie Warner, and Keshia Wright and 2 grandchildren Kaylee Belle Warner and Jonston Bo Warner. Walter and Debbie are the owners of Walt’s Buildings, Inc. They both are graduates of Macon County High School and have lived in the Lafayette area their entire lives. Walter was saved at the age of nine at home in his bedroom on July 6, 1973. He joined Cedar Bluff Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized by Elder. Stanley Keen. After running from the Lord for about a year Walter owned is calling to the ministry. Antioch Missionary Baptist Church called for Walter to serve as pastor in September 1996 and was later ordained into the full work in November 1996 where He served as pastor till December 1999. He then was the pastor of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, Scottsville KY for a short period of time. Walter also served as pastor of Buffalo Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Bethpage, TN from 2000 through 2006.

Brother Randy Ragland Brother Randy is the son of the late Leo and Ruby Ragland. He has one brother, Gerald, and four sisters, Sharon Smith, Brenda Freeman, Teresa Austin and Joyce Turner. He married Wendy Mahaney on June 30th, 1972. She is the daughter of H.C. and Nina Mahaney. Bro. Randy and Sister Wendy have one son, Kevin, who lives in Knoxville with his wife Emily. Bro. Randy has been employed by TRW in Lebanon, TN since graduating from Macon County High School in 1971.
After running from the Lord for two years, Randy was saved in 1967. While attending revivial at Enon Missionary Baptist Church in 1977, the Lord spoke to Bro. Randy to join the church that night. Not fully understanding why he should join, he followed the Lord and has been richly blessed. He was lead to move his membership to Antioch in 1996. He served the church as the teenage Sunday School teacher and later was elected as the adult teacher. Feeling very unworthy, he humbly acepted the request to serve as Deacon.

Brother Nicky Wilson Brother Nicky Wilson is the son of Clifton and Vida Wilson. He was born in Lafayette, TN on December 27, 1959. He has one brother, Elder Richard Wilson. He is a graduate of Macon County High School. He married Teresa Barber on June 4, 1982. Her parents are Joe and Christine Barber. Bro. Nicky and Sister Teresa have twin daughters, Trista and Sasha. Trista is married to Joe Parsons and they have two sons, Bradley and Mason. Sasha is married to Andy Graves and they have twin sons, Hayden and Brady. Bro. Nicky is a farmer and lives just outside of Lafayette.
Bro. Nicky came under conviction when he was 10 years old and was saved a few months later during revival at Brattontown Missionary Baptist Church. He joined Brattontown and was baptized by the late Elder Melvin Stinson. He remained a member there until the Lord led him to unite with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He became a member of Antioch on January 22, 2005. He has been a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and has humbly accepted the request to serve as Deacon.
